HALLYU POP FEST 2018: GLOBAL AUDITION

General FAQ

 

• What are the daily activities?
– A detailed schedule of our daily activities can be found under Event.

• What is the artiste line-up for each day?
– Please refer to event for the line-up for each day.

• Will HallyuPopFest 2018 have concerts for all three days?
– Yes. There will be afternoon showcases and evening concerts on Friday (September 7), Saturday (September 8) and Sunday (September 9).

• Will there be a gift collection counter set up at venue?
– Unfortunately, due to safety and security concerns, no fan gifts of any sort will be collected at the venue.

• Will there be merchandise on sale during the festival?
– Unfortunately, due to logistics issue, there will not be any merchandise on sale during the festival.

• Is there an age limit for the festival? At what age does a child need a ticket?
– In line with Singapore Indoor Stadium’s child entrance policy, please refer to the following:
– No admission for infant in arms and children aged below 3 years old.
– Children aged 3 and above must purchase a ticket for admission.
– Children under 12 are not allowed into the standing areas.

• How can I get to Singapore Indoor Stadium?
– The Singapore Indoor Stadium is easily accessible via all transport modes. Public transport by MRT and Bus are the easiest forms of transport to get here.

• Is there a parking lot for HallyuPopFest attendees?
– Parking is available at the lots located in seven car parks all around Singapore Sports Hub.

• Are outside food and drinks allowed in the venue?
– No outside food and drinks will be allowed.

• Is photography or videography allowed during the showcases and concerts?
Photography, videography and any other forms of recording are strictly prohibited.

• Can I leave and re-enter the venue during the showcases or evening concert?
– No re-entries will be allowed if you leave the arena halfway during the showcase or concert. You can leave the venue after the showcase and re-enter again in the evening for the concert.

• Will you be allowing overnight queues?
– When purchasing tickets, we discourage our patrons from forming lines overnight before the official queue timings.
– For entry to the showcase and evening concerts, please note that unofficial or fan-created lines will not be honoured. Please refer to the different sections below for their official queue timings.

• Are there any items prohibited in the venue?
– For the full list of items, kindly refer to the conditions of entry as stated by Singapore Sports Hub.

• Can I bring my fan-board/selfie stick/stool into Singapore Indoor Stadium?
– Please take note of the following restrictions by Singapore Sports Hub:
– LED and fan-boards are restricted to A3 size (42cm x 29.7cm) or smaller.
– Banners or flags no larger than 1m x 2m.
– Selfie sticks and stools are strictly not allowed into the venue.

• I’m an international fan and will be flying in for the festival. Can I bring my luggage into the venue?
– According to venue restrictions, it is advisable not to bring bulky items to the venue as there are limited storage space or lockers available. Bags or luggage of dimensions larger than 35cm x 20cm x 30cm will not be allowed into the venue.
– For the full list of items, kindly refer to the conditions of entry as stated by Singapore Sports Hub.

Showcases

• What is “Showcase”?
– All HallyuPopFest ticket holders will have access to the arena floor for afternoon performances by our featured showcase artistes.
– Please ensure that you have your Showcase ticket on hand for entry to the arena.
– There will be no allocated standing area or ticketed seats. Patrons will enter the arena at Level 1, via the Premier Entrances on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the standing area is full, for safety reasons, remaining patrons will be redirected to respective seated areas on Level 2. There will be no re-entry allowed during the Showcase.
– Please hold on to your showcase and concert ticket at all times as checks may be conducted by ground staff and security personnel at any time. You may be asked to leave the venue if found using someone else’s ticket and there will be no refund.

• How long are the daily Showcases?
– The daily showcases will run for approximately 90-120 mins (subject to change).

• What time will the queue begin for the afternoon showcases?
– The queue for the afternoon showcase will start from 10.30am. Admission into the venue starts at 11.30am each day, 1.5 hours before show time (subject to change).

• What if I didn’t get a separate Showcase ticket when I bought my tickets?
– Kindly go to a Box Office at Indoor Stadium with your festival ticket and your transaction details in order for us to trace the booking.

 

Red Carpet

• What is “Red Carpet”?
– The Red Carpet is where artistes will walk and have an opportunity to wave to their fans as they head towards a stage for a Question & Answer session.
– The Red Carpet event will be held outside Indoor Stadium, and is open to the public.
– DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders will have access to a VIP area on the “Red Carpet”. Other ticket holders and the general public will be allowed to fill in any remaining space behind the barricades.

• Will all artistes attend the red carpet event?
– Artistes’ attendance at the red carpet is subject to their schedule.

• If it rains on the event day, will there still be a red carpet event?
– The red carpet will be a rain or shine event. But let’s all hope for good weather so we can see our idols in all their glory.

• What time will the entry to the red carpet event open for each day?
– Entry to the red carpet event opens from 2.30pm each day for DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders.

 

Evening Concert

• What is the “Evening Concert”?
– All HallyuPopFest ticket holders will get to rock out with their favourite K-pop artistes and cheer their hearts out for their bias whilst enjoying world-class performances put up by our star-studded line-up of each night.

• How long are the daily Evening Concerts?
– The daily evening concert will go on for at least 3 hours (subject to change).

• What time will doors open for the Evening Concert?
– Doors for the evening concert will open at 6.30pm.

• What time will the queue begin for standing pen ticket holders for the evening concert?
– The official queue for standing pen will start from 4pm.
– Please be reminded that unofficial or fancreated lines will not be honoured.

 

Ticketing FAQs

• How can I purchase a ticket to the festival?
– All HallyuPopFest tickets will be available for purchase via Sportshubtix, our official ticketing partner. You can also click on the ticket purchase link on our website.

• When will tickets go on sale?
– Our public ticket sales will start on 7 July 2018, 10am SGT. Tickets will be available from that date forward based on availability.

• Will there be any priority sales before the general public sales?
– There will be a 1 day only priority sale on 6 July 2018, from 10am to 11.59pm SGT.
– Only HallyuPopFest 3-Day Pack will be available for sale during the priority sales. Limited to purchase of CAT 1 tickets and DAEBAK! Pass only.
– All 3 tickets purchased across 3 the different festival days must be of the same price category. (ie. 3 x DAEBAK! Passes; 3 x CAT 1 Tickets)
– Priority Booking on 6 July 2018 will be open to public. There are no preconditions.
– Limited numbers of HallyuPopFest 3-Day packs will be available.

• During the priority sale on 6 July 2018, how many 3-Day packs can I purchase in one single transaction?
– A maximum of 4 x 3-Day packs can be booked in one transaction. Please ensure that you complete the transaction within the time frame.

• How many tickets can I purchase in one single transaction during the general public sales?
– A maximum of 4 tickets (inclusive of DAEBAK! Passes) per festival day and 12 tickets over the 3 festival days can be booked in one transaction. Please ensure that you complete the transaction within the time frame.

• What is the difference between the “DAEBAK! Pass” and a regular ticket?
– A single ticket allows you to attend one (1) festival day, which means a ticketed spot at the Evening Concert and free access to afternoon Showcase on the same day.
– If you would like to engage in a full-on hallyu experience, you can purchase a DAEBAK! Pass which will give exclusive access to VIP areas and activities and special artiste engagement sessions each night!
– *DAEBAK! Passes are sold daily and each pass is for ONE PERSON ONLY.

• If I only want to attend the showcases, will there be a separate ticket sale for this?
– There are no separate tickets for sale for showcases. Admission to the day’s Showcase is free for all HallyuPopFest evening ticket holders for that day.

• I am an international fan. How can I purchase my ticket?
– International fans can purchase tickets online through our official ticketing partner Sportshubtix and may opt for the Print-at-Home (PAH) tickets which will be sent to your email address. Alternatively, you could also opt to collect your tickets at the box office on the day of the event.

• I came across third-party ticket sellers on the internet. Will you be accepting such tickets?
– We strongly encourage you to only purchase tickets from our official ticketing agent, Sportshubtix. By purchasing tickets from non-authorised points of sale, buyers will take on the risk that the validity of the tickets cannot be guaranteed. We will not be responsible for any tickets bought through a third-party and no refunds will be possible.

• Will there be ticket options for those with a disability?
– Yes. Please contact 3158 7888 or visit Singapore Sports Hub’s website for more information on the dedicated areas for accessible seating.

• Can I select my seat during the purchase?
– Subject to availability, you will be able to select your preferred category and section. However, individual seats cannot be selected. Sportshubtix’s system will always allocate the best available seat at your point of transaction.

• Will there be any booking fee for each ticket?
– A booking fee of S$4 per ticket will be applicable.

• What are the accepted payment options for Sportshubtix?
– All (Debit/Credit) Visa, MasterCard, JCB and AMEX are accepted via all booking channels. Cash and NETS options are also available at the venue box offices and outlets.

• I selected “Venue Collection” for the ticket delivery option. How do I collect the tickets?
– You can pick it up at the box office on the day of the event. Please bring along your credit card used for the transaction along with a photo ID that matches the name on your credit card and booking confirmation number for the collection. For more information please refer to the Sportshubtix website.

• I bought seated tickets for the evening concert. When can I enter the venue?
– Doors will open at 6.30pm for seated audience.

• I bought a standing pen ticket. How does the queue number system work?
– The standing pen queue number will ONLY be applicable for the evening concert. Entry to the showcase will be based on a first-come-first-served basis.
– The queue number system is implemented by the venue and ticketing agent to discourage overnight queuing. Queue numbers will be generated by the ticketing system and printed on the tickets. Entry into the venue for standing areas will be based on assigned queue numbers.
– We wish to highlight that queue numbers are programmed like seat numbers and are assigned on a first come first serve basis. The queue numbers will be confirmed upon a successful transaction. Please note that queue numbers might not be in order, especially during peak sale where multiple purchases might be made at the same time. However, tickets purchased in a single transaction will be allocated queue numbers in running order.
– On concert day, there will be a holding area (to be announced) for the Standing Area ticket holders. The holding area will open at 4pm each day for the concert: 4 hours before the show time. Standing Area ticket holders should queue up at the holding area according to signages and the sequence of queue number as printed on the ticket.
– Admission into the venue starts at 6.30pm each day, 1.5 hours before show time (subject to change). Standing Area ticket holders in the holding area will be admitted according to queue number. The queue number on the ticket will no longer be valid at 6.15pm. Standing Area ticket holders who arrive after 6.15pm will be required to enter the venue after all the ticket holders within the holding area have been admitted.
– Venue Crowd Safety Officers will be around to maintain order and provide assistance.

 

DAEBAK! Pass

• What does the “ DAEBAK! Pass” include?
– The DAEBAK! Pass is a premium pass designed for a full-on Hallyu experience at HallyuPopFest 2018.
DAEBAK! Pass Holders will be entitled to the following perks each day of the festival:

– Priority Access to Afternoon Showcase
– Priority Access to the Evening Concert
– Special Hi-Touch with 1 performing act
– VIP group photo with 1 performing act
– Special DAEBAK! area on the Red Carpet for you to be closer to the artistes than the general public
– DAEBAK! VIP zone at Evening concert
– DAEBAK! Goodie Bag
– DAEBAK! Exclusive Lanyard and pass

• Where does the ‘Hi-Touch’ and ‘Photo Session’ take place?
– DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders will be informed personally via email of the locations of all artiste engagement sessions nearer to the concert date.

• What is a “Hi-Touch”?
– DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders will enter a designated “Hi-Touch” area and be able to “high five” the artistes during the specific session. DAEBAK! Pass holders will receive full details via email.

• Can I pick the performing act of my choice for the ‘Hi-Touch’ and ‘Photo Session’ ?
– Artiste engagements will be allocated randomly. No selection of performing act is allowed.

• Can I record during the “Hi-Touch” session?
– Recording is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you are caught recording during the “Hi-Touch”, your recording will be deleted and you will be asked to leave the area immediately and without refund.

• When and where do I queue for Hi-Touch and Photo Session?
– All DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders will receive an email with information on the queue location and timings.

• What do I do if my audition schedule coincides with any of the “DAEBAK! Pass” activities?
– We recommend you to arrive early for your allocated audition timing in order to avoid missing any of the scheduled DAEBAK! Activities. There will be no refund for any missed activities.

• I bought the “DAEBAK! Pass”. When and where can I collect my goodie bag?
– We will be sending out emails to our DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders with full details on where to go, what to do and how to pick up their goodie bag.

• Is it a must to follow through with the full DAEBAK! Pass schedule? Can I leave halfway and comeback again after?
– It is not compulsory to follow through the full DAEBAK! schedule.
– There will be a schedule of access times for each DAEBAK! Activity, and a map for your reference. You are free to join in as you please. However do note that there will be no re-entry allowed for each activity.

• What do I do if I do not receive an email?
– Please ensure that you key in a valid email when you purchase your DAEBAK! Pass as this will be our primary form of communication with you.

 

AUDITION FAQs

• How can I join the auditions?
–  Click on the audition tab above to view the full list of instructions.

• Can I sign up for all 3 days of auditions?
–  Each ticket entitles you to audition for all 3 days (i.e. 7, 8 & 9 Sep). If you get a ticket for the concert on 7 Sep, you can also register for auditions on 8 & 9 Sep.

• What are the audition requirements? Is there an age limit?
– All applicants must be a HallyuPopFest 2018 ticket holder.
– Any individual born between year 1992 and 2006 can apply

• Which entertainment agencies will be conducting the auditions?
3 entertainment agencies will be coming down for an exclusive audition. Cube Entertainment, Jellyfish Entertainment and Starship Entertainment.
– 7th September : Jellyfish Entertainment
– 8th September : Starship Entertainment
– 9th September : Cube Entertainment

• How do I know whether I have been shortlisted?
– We will be releasing the results to all applicants from the 1st of September 2018 via email.

• Which category can I audition for?
– There are different categories available for audition. For example, Sing/Dance/Act.

• Can I audition for more than one category?
– No. Participants can only choose ONE category for each entertainment company.

• Can I apply as a group?
– No. Unfortunately, only solo applications will be accepted.

• Can my friend join the audition using my ticket?
– We will only be accepting one audition registration per ticket. Physical tickets must be presented at audition registration booths on every audition day. The sharing of ticket numbers for multiple applications will not be allowed. Should any multiple applications be found under the same ticket number, all applicants will be automatically withdrawn from the audition without notice.

• Where can I register for the auditions?
– You can download the application form from our website. For more information, click on the audition tab above.

• When I apply for more than one entertainment company, how many videos/face shots/full ticket pictures do I have to submit?
– For applications to more than one entertainment company,
you will only be required to submit your Face Shots and Clear picture/screenshot of Ticket via email once.
– However, applications to each entertainment company will require a separate video submission. So even if you are applying for the same category for a different company, you have to upload a separate video labelled with the respective company’s name. (Example: 12345678910 / CAT 1 / Dance / Jane Chan / Cube)
– You can either choose to submit the same video clip or different video clip for each respective company, depending on the category that you are registering for.

• Will the audition overlap with any activities happening in the day?
– All scheduled auditions will end by 6.30pm, before the evening concert. However, there might be a possibility of audition schedules overlapping with the other activities happening in the day.

• Can I pick my audition time?
– Audition timings will be designated. Applicants cannot choose a specific timing for the audition.

• Can I apply at the audition venue itself?
– No. Walk-in applications will not be accepted.

• Can I bring my own instruments/music?
– Singing: Acappella only.
– Singer-Songwriter: You are allowed to bring your own instruments and music. Self-composed songs are allowed. We will only be providing a keyboard.
– Dance: Only one song will be allowed. Participants should submit the song to the staff before you start your audition.
– Please prepare all music tracks on your USB or Phone.

• Will all applicants be informed?
– Our team will send a confirmation email to all our applicants upon receipt of your application.
– All applicants will be informed of the results in due course.
– Do remember to check your junk email folder.
– If you did not receive any mail, it means:
– You’ve missed the deadline
– We did not receive your email
– Your application was not complete/you did not attach the necessary material
– You have sent it to a wrong email address etc.

RULES AND POLICIES

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct applies to your conduct while you are attending HallyuPopFest, whether on or off site, or on any of our social media platforms. Please abide to all published, printed, and verbal rules and instructions by HallyuPopFest staff, venue staff, and security personnel.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

– DAEBAK! Pass ticket holders will be required to have their VIP Pass with them at all times while on event ground. VIP passes that are tampered with or damaged shall be void and unusable.
– Photography, videography, gifts and letters are not allowed during the Artiste Engagement Sessions, Showcases and Evening Concert.
– Resale of Artiste Engagement and Showcase tickets are prohibited and HAH Entertainment reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold without refund.
– We reserve the right to remove any ticketholder/patron should they behave in a disruptive manner, seek to injure or cause grievous harm to others without refund (entry will be voided).
– In the event of any dispute, the decision of HAH Entertainment reserves the right of making the final decision.
– Disclaimer: Artist Engagement schedules are subject to change or cancellation at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. If there are any changes or cancellations, we will notify you via the official HallyuPopFest website and our Facebook page.
– Due to no fault of the organiser, in the event that an artiste is unable to continue with their artiste engagement commitment due to unforseen circumstances e.g. health reasons, HAH Entertainment may make the efforts to provide relief, but is not responsible for and does not guarantee an alternate opportunity or any other remedies.
– HAH Entertainment reserves the right to change and amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notifications or any reasons thereof.
